DMCA Policy
FindOzi respects intellectual property rights. This DMCA Policy explains how copyright owners can submit infringement notices, how affected users can respond with a counter-notice, and how FindOzi handles repeated infringement. We take all valid notices seriously and respond promptly. This policy follows the DMCA framework and is also consistent with applicable Indian copyright law under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Our commitment to copyright
FindOzi does not allow its AI tool directory, Prompt Gallery, or community features to host, promote, or link to copyrighted material without authorization. We review every valid DMCA notice received and take appropriate action — which may include removing the content, disabling the listing, or notifying the user. We also respect fair use and will not remove content that falls within clearly legitimate use cases. Abusive or false notices may be reported to the appropriate legal authorities.
How to submit a DMCA takedown notice
If you are a copyright owner (or are authorized to act for one) and believe content on FindOzi infringes your rights, send a written notice to the contact below with at least the following, consistent with Section 512(c)(3) of the U.S. DMCA:
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name with intent to sign is acceptable in email).
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if many works, a representative list.
- Identification of the material on FindOzi that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (for example, exact URL of the tool listing, prompt, or other page, and a description).
- Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
We may request additional information. Misrepresentations in a notice can create liability. We may also forward your notice to the user who posted the material, where our process and law allow.
How to submit a counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same DMCA contact. A counter-notice under U.S. law typically includes: your signature; identification of the material and its location before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake; your name, address, and phone number; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the U.S., that you accept service from the person who filed the original notice) and a statement that you will accept service of process. Process details may be adapted under Indian law for parallel complaints; we will act in good faith and as required by applicable rules.
Repeat infringer policy
We may terminate or limit accounts of users who are repeat infringers of others’ intellectual property, as determined in our reasonable discretion, including the number and severity of valid notices and the user’s response, subject to our terms and applicable law.
